SAE WORLD CONGRESS: SAE 2008 World Congress Marks 75th Anniversary in Detroit

The SAE World Congress, originally called the SAE Annual Meeting,
relocated from New York City to Detroit in January 1933. Formerly held at
the Book-Cadillac Hotel, the four-day event included 15 sessions and
attracted more than 3,000 attendees. Among the featured speakers that year
was Kaufman Thuma “K.T.” Keller, then Vice-President and General Manager of
