LinuxWorld 2008: IDG World Expo Completes Successful LinuxWorld Conference & Expo and Second Annual Next Generation Data Center Event

IDG World Expo, the leading producer of world-class tradeshows and events, today announced the successful completion of LinuxWorld® and Next Generation Data Center™ Conference & Expo (NGDC™), both of which were held August 4-7, 2008 at the Moscone Center in San Francisco. Combined, the two shows attracted close to 10,000 participants and 200 exhibitors from around the globe. Each event showcased the latest open source and data center technologies, and boasted a conference program with almost 200 combined educational sessions, tutorials and hands-on-labs across 17 tracks, including applications, mobile Linux, virtualization and advanced facilities management in the data center.
