I.E.S. International Expanding Shafts Srl, an Italian leader manufacturer of expanding air shafts and chucks, has specialized in the production of differential rewinding shafts with ball locks for slitter rewinders.
Its already wide range of products has been increased with two novelties that will be exhibited at DRUPA.
The first one is the differential rewinding shaft type FDS7/3L This shaft enables the use of cores with high tolerances or with differences in the internal diameter. The cores locking is secured by a double row of expanding balls that grant a perfect locking even of very narrow cores.
The second innovation is the differential rewinding shaft type FDS8/3LM for 6” cores that combines both lightness and resistance thanks to the raw materials used in its manufacturing. Also this type of shaft is available for 18 mm minimum cut widths.
