Der Internetkonzern kauft den Werbeprofi Right Media für 680 Millionen Dollar. Yahoo, neben Google und Microsoft der dritte große Betreiber von Suchmaschinen, hat den Werbevermarkter Right Media komplett übernommen. Bei eBay verkauft, via Amazon verschickt

Amazon hat im Laufe der Jahre nicht nur ein eindrucksvolles Shopping-System aufgebaut, sondern auch eine gigantische Infrastruktur für die Lagerung und den Versand der online verkauften Waren. Im vergangenen Herbst hat der Händler dafür eine zusätzliche Vermarktungsmöglichkeit geschaffen, die in Zukunft noch weiter ausgebaut werden soll: “Fulfillment by Amazon“. Zunächst schien dieses Angebot nur als Logistik-Lösung für die Handelspartner des Amazon Marketplace gedacht. Der texanische Computer-Discounter Dell ringt gegen sinkende Umsätze. 1!mm Um den Absatz wieder anzukurbeln, sucht Firmengründer Michael Dell nach neuen Vertriebswegen. Sogar ein Verkauf über den Einzelhandel wird geprüft. Der Computerhersteller Dell zeigen will eventuell mit einem veränderten Geschäftskonzept sein Wachstum wieder ankurbeln. Der Konzern wolle neue Wege finden, seine Produkte zu verkaufen und herzustellen, heißt es in einer E-Mail des Gründers und Firmenchefs Michael Dell an seine Mitarbeiter weltweit. Dell hat sein Geschäftsmodell bislang auf den Direktverkauf per Telefon und Internet abgestellt. Kunden waren vor allem Unternehmen. MS fans, Vista affinados and PC slaves, save your bucks and feel -at least somewhat- safer while using Microsoft’s latest Windows version: Antivirus company Avira just released its first AntiVir version compatible with Vista. The award-winning AntiVir Personal Edition is still free and certainly as good as expensive alternatives from Norton et cetera. Not that we Gizmonistas are big Windows fans but we also run a Vista machine as a (cheap) Media Center and record loads of TV stuff and now appreciate Avira’s latest efforts.
